  • The only good thing about my emergency room visit was that it was relatively quick to get a bed, about an hour. Everything else was pretty much mediocre. I repeatably said that I was in excruciating pain (lower back) and they were not the least bit concerned. I waited for over 3 hours for pain medication when the doctor said she would give me some while I was there. I asked several times and they never gave me anything but a steroid shot that didn't work and that I have had 2 days earlier. I explained my pain was not helped by the weak painkillers I was prescribed by urgent care, all they gave me was a similar just as weak pain medication which I had to go and fill at a pharmacy during rush hour and had to wait an additional two hours and once again the painkiller barely did anything what so ever. The doctor didn't read any of the information I provided when I checked in and I had to repeat everything to every doctor and nurse I saw. I asked my nurse for water 3 times and he never got me any. He was short, was not friendly and had no personality what so ever. I will not be returning to this hospital
