We have been going to English Rose Tea Room for 10 years. It is about an hour away from us so we try to make the trip 1-2 times a year, when we can. The staff is friendly, the food is amazing (their tea and scones, yum!) and Jo (owner) always tries to make it around to all of the tables. She is from England and it is always a joy to talk to her. I have not written a review before now because I don't typically think to write reviews, but as I sit in my kitchen eating my leftover scones and drinking my tea, a smile comes to my face. The scones are still "yum!" the next day, and the memories and how English Tea Rose makes you feel every time you visit is well worth the drive. It's high time I write a review and share it with others, don't you think?
And guys... it's one of my husband's favorite places to go too. :)
