I go through a lot of shafts and flights from wear and tear, and I am always changing up something or another. The selection of darts and accessories is very good. Shoot the Bull carries soft tip darts, English steel tip darts, electronic boards, traditional bristle boards, chalk scoreboards, dartboard cases, dart mats and even American baseball style boards and darts that are popular in Pennsylvania and rural New York state. The staff is very knowledgeable and they take the time to explain the basics of choosing a dart to the novice as well as discussing the finer points concerning weight, dimensions and grip with more experienced players. Shoot the Bull's prices are very competitive, and often lower than online shops. Buying accessories online is one thing, but I would be very wary of buying darts online. There is no substitute for throwing several sets of darts before deciding which works best, and which ones you want to buy. The staff allows customers to use the boards in the shop to help in selecting the right darts, so don't be afraid to ask if you can throw a few darts before deciding.
