  • Feels more like a 4.5, but a bump up from friendly service and the macarons. Came around a Sunday morning for a work talk. Kinda panicked when I saw the whole place filled up, but luckily I came back in 30 minutes and it was vacated. It's very nice and clean, with plenty of white. While it was a cake shop with baked goods, there seemed to be more of a focus on both the drinks and the macarons when it came to the counter. There were plenty of choices for coffee and iced tea, but I opted for the earl gray milk tea with boba. The cotton candy was a playful touch I hadn't seen anywhere else. The tea itself was nice and sweet. I wasn't expecting the boba to be a strong point - I found it passable, but a little bit on the chewy side. As a snack, I opted for a vegan carrot cake, and it was plentifully moist and flavorful to say the least. Outside my talk, I did some people watching for a bit. A couple large groups came in, with mostly people opting for drinks. It was to the point they ran out of boba for tea - which makes me think they had enough for maybe 40 orders that day. Some ordered macarons and asked for the owner from a previous fun event, and there were even couples inquiring about wedding cake estimates. On the way out, I had some of the macarons, and while there classic staples, my favorite was probably the french fry milkshake. I would have never known this place was off Main Street. I'm sure to come back to try more of the macarons, and maybe another drink if I'm thirsty.
