  • WARNING! DO NOT USE ABC PLUMBING!!! We had a pinhole leak in our incoming water line between the house and the city valve. ABC Plumbing (over) charged $3,000 was for 23 feet of easy digging & laying a new water line plus $200 for a city permit & $200 for landscaping sprinkler repairs. When they were done I asked to see the city permit, well they didn't get one (not needed) so we did not pay the $200 they wanted. After they left, I tried my sprinklers and NONE of my sprinklers worked. I called them back & it was discovered that the old sprinkler supply line was removed with the old water line. They informed us that a brass vacuum breaker was needed to connect the sprinklers to the water line. ABC Plumbing wanted $468 for the valve PLUS labor. We negotiated that the $ already paid for sprinkler repair plus a service call charge of $76 would cover the labor. I bought the valve for $80 at Home Depot and informed ABC plumbing. They refused to take off the $468!! They are dishonest! They are over charging! Where are the morals?
