rev:text	When I arrived, I thought that it was awfully permissive of my mom - or terribly bizarre for her cats - that the cats moved around the apartment without touching the floor. I am not kidding. Windowsill to microwave on top of table to half wall to table to chair to sofa to sofa to coffee table to chair - these two kitties were really agile and demonstrated extreme non-floor-touching prowess. The next morning - I realized why: FLEAS! And - for some odd reason - the fleas weren't bothering my mom! But they were ALL over me - so the next day after our stop at Lowes and lunch at Thai Orchid, Pet Supplies Plus is the next stop on our "Tour de Mentor Ave Mega Box Store Strip." The store is medium size - and kind of cluttered. I had to ask for access to Advantage - and when I asked for Advantage for dogs, the clerk started asking "how big is the dog" and I said I just wanted the large tubes of Advantage II. Then my mom let it slip that it was for two cats so the clerk launched into a "know it all" routine on me, telling me that Advantage dogs could never be used on cats. Actually - it can. Advantage 100 and Advantage II for dogs is the same as for cats. There is another type of Advantage which is dogs only - and frontline can't be swapped out but - if you have a multi-cat household, my local pet store AND my local veterinary clinic both agree: get a little 1.0 syringe and measure it out of the large tubes. It's utterly ridiculous that 6 tubes of Advantage for large dogs is the same cost as 6 tubes for cats but there you have it. Well, this clerk just started arguing with me and getting weird about it - I asked if she was going allow me to make the purchase or if I should talk to her manager. Seriously - I have never had so much trouble buying flea medication in my life! Kind of off-putting. Next time - I'll just buy the Advantage at my local pet store and mail it to my mother - sorry, Pet Supplies Plus, bad service doesn't get a repeat with so many options! The kitties did LOVE their toys that we bought there, however!
