From the time I moved to Vegas, I've been hearing about this Lotus of Siam rival. My man and I were searching for a different place to go and decided on Archi's since we were not far away. Not sure how they did it, but these folks nailed the "cozy living room." Most tables are part booth, part chair, but all of them are comfortable and the lighting really adds to this resto's intimacy. Determined not to get our Thai standards, we opted for the silver noodles salad (sans chicken) -- which was an absolute stand-out, and the curry fried rice with crab meat (salivation central!!) Not so great were the seafood omelet (though the sauce that came w/ was delish!) and the eggplant with shrimp dish (while everything was properly cooked, the dish was super-duper bland -- my man and I were brainstorming things to add to spice this bad boy up!) Will I come back again? Absolutely!! Love this resto's ambiance and that they're mixing it up by offering folks more menu options than what the average thai place offers. Service is fantastic, with folks constantly checking up to make sure you're enjoying your meal. Final plus: they stick to their guns on the spice level factor. If you order a 5 of 10 on the spicy scale, expect to get exactly that!
