Usually I never have problems with La Quinta at all. This one has to be the worst experience I have ever had. The room was clean and everything was okay. At check out time I asked for a late check out. She said no right off the bat. Yes I know, It is all subject to availability but being a gold member they usually accommodate you. She said we don't offer late check out. How odd?? because it clearly sates on your website you do. I told her I was going to check out then and I went upstairs and packed and loaded my car. I can do online checkout on my app which I did. What a surprise when I check my statement and was charged an extra night stay??? I called the hotel and was told I was charged another night since she saw my empty dinner containers and assumed I was still there. I explained that it was EMPTY and was near the trash can that was full and didn't realize I could not leave empty containers??? Perhaps they should of called me?? anyway after those two incidents, I will most likely never stay at this particular location. The day shift girl was rude, manager was nice and would consider going back had I not gotten charge for the second night stay.
The hotel is situated in a central location where there are shops to go to, clean rooms, fast wifi, etc... That is the reason why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.
