Tried combo no. 1 - Spring Roll, Samosa, Rendang (Beef), Gado Gado (steamed vege with peanut dressing) and Nasi Kuning (Yello rice).
The Spring roll and samosa were pretty tasty with the sweet chili sauce.
The Rendang was not stewed enough and was a bit tough. The beef should be stewed down till it melts in your mouth. The rendang sauce was quite close to what I'm used to eating.
The Gado gado was pretty good. It's just a partial gado gado as it has some of the vegetables; usually, there should also be hard-boiled eggs, cubed boiled potato, beans, cabbage. The peanut sauce was very good and close to home.
I liked the Nasi Kuning as it was quite authentic. All these items should be eaten with the sambal sauce (dark hot sauce). Very spicy.
I'd like to try the other combos. Each combo is $8.50 - not too bad a price for all this food and for a food truck.
