| - Horseback riding through Red Rock Canyon. That's living the REAL wild west!
I've been riding for as long as I can remember. So, when my friend from Japan told us he wanted to ride horses (he said, "Cowboy. Me, cowboy, please!"), we jumped on the opportunity. They were so awesome at the ranch. Incredibly pleasant, helpful, and patient with the first-timers in our group. We only did an hour ride, costing about $45/person, but it was so much to see in an hour that I felt satisfied at the end of the trip. Our guide was a very happy young lady who loved what she does, and she sang some songs for us along the way. It was so cool. I can't wait to find an excuse to do it again.
They offer a number of ride styles, from a ride for kids to a sunset ride, complete with a real western-style BBQ under the stars to cap the evening. They generally serve steak, but will prepare chicken, salmon, or vegetarian dishes if you request them in advance. I thought that mighty kind of 'em.
