Food was good.
Just walked in for 2 people at 9:30pm on a Tuesday conference night. Food was great.
Food was good! Rock shrimp tempura, kanpachi ceviche, seared wagyu, grilled veg side dish, hamachi, Saba, madai, sushi.
My one blah moment was a la crate Shimaji sushi a la carte. Easily the worst shimaji I've had in the world.
Service was good and friendly except at the end when they gave me the bill then just talked to another table of patrons (friendly conversation) and got into hockey (he pulled out a phone to recap a hockey replay) then went on talking about Singapore. It's great he got along with he customers behind us but it took forever for him to bring the machine for me to pay and leave. They must have a protocol since the bus person and other servers who Wales by saw my card on the bill and never took it and never pointed it out to or server. We kept asking servers to pick up plates that we didn't need to make room for other dishes. That was a bit of a pain too.
Mostly good! We'd still return.
Oh don't bother going if it's a new date night or if you have a sorry throat. High ceilings, vibing crowd, you have to talk loud in there.
