  • I am a Pittsburgh native and never had a Primanti sandwich until a couple years ago. I go when I bring family and they want to try the famous sandwich. Even at the prime Market Square area the prices are very good. The concept is simple which I like, the bread is amazing and the service if friendly. I got the steak and cheese - didn't really have that much steak - guess that's why its $6.99. My daughter got the traditional #2 Pittsburgher. I asked for no Cole slaw and my fries on the side. Got a funny look and remark from the waiter. We went 2 days later after the steeler game and they ran out of wings. It reminds me of In n Out Burger on the west coast. Crazy loyal following with a good product that I don't mind eating at but I just don't find it as great as everyone else.
