  • This isn't much more than an expensive elevator ride, with an even more expensive gift shop at the bottom. The cool thing about it though is that once you're up at the top you're really glad you came, because it dwarfs practically any other "attraction" in Toronto. There are several different levels from which you can take in the city surrounding the tower, and many miles out on a clear day (which most of them seem to be in this city). At the very top is the Sky Pod, which gives you the absolute highest view man can reach while still connected to Earth (not including mountains). Below that is a level with a few glass tiles on part of the floor where you can look straight down to the ground. This area is perfect for scaring your friends who are afraid of heights. Just above this level is an "outdoor" observation deck, with just a screen separating you and the icy cold air near the top of the tower. There's not much "to do" at the tower, other than look around. There is a restaurant, which I will review separately, but staring through various forms of glass at buildings pretty much sums up what you'll experience here.
