  • This has to be my least favorite Starbucks in Vegas. I try to avoid this location whenever I can, but if it's nearby and I don't have time, I go here. So I prefer using the drive-thru rather than going inside. That being said, the way they built the drive-thru is not very smart. When it gets busy, the cars are blocking some of the parking spots. One time when I actually did go inside to get my coffee and then came back to my car to leave, I was sitting in my car for at least 5 minutes to wait for the cars in the drive-thru to pull forward just so I could go in reverse and get out of there. When it comes to customer service, I'd rate this place as very poor customer service. The staff are not friendly at all. I think I've seen maybe one employee who actually smiles and looks happy to be there. A few times when they messed up my drink and I asked them politely if they could please remake it, they looked confused and even annoyed that I had asked them this. I don't think the staff are properly trained because if they were, they would know how to properly make the drinks and provide much better customer service. The WORST experience I've had here is when I was driving home from work one day and ordered a hot latte with extra foam at the drive-thru. I took a sip of the latte right away just to make sure they made it good. I realized they did not put extra foam like I had asked. It was very "wet", hardly any foam. So while still in the drive-thru, I asked the barista if they could please remake it with extra foam. So she took my drink no problem and remade it. When she gave me my new latte, I took it and drove away without trying it, which was a mistake because I should have sipped it while still in the drive-thru. So after driving maybe a couple feet away, I took a sip. My drink was so hot that I literally burned my tongue, and the cup was way too hot to hold, even with the sleeve on. I do of course like my coffee hot, but I feel they made it so hot that I would have to wait at least 20 minutes just to sip it. So not having the patience to go through the drive-thru again, I decided to drive back there and go inside. I asked to speak to the manager since they had messed up my drink twice. I was fed up by that point and asked if I could just have a refund and forget about making me a new drink. I explained that I am a gold card user who frequents Starbucks everyday and have never had a drink that hot that burned my tongue. I couldn't even enjoy drinking it. The manager started being a smart ass and saying he trained his staff to make the drinks at the right temperature. He even went so far as to take the drink thermometer to see the temperature of the drink just to make sure that it was as hot as I said it was. This really grinded my gears because instead of doing all this and giving me a hard time, he should have just refunded me my money. He said the drink was at the right temperature, which was bs because I could not even hold the cup, it was so hot. I just rolled my eyes at him and he finally gave me my money back. When I got home, I immediately called Starbucks corporate to put in a complaint about them. This is NOT how you treat customers. I was shocked that this man was a manager. Avoid this location if you can!
