Zoo meets aquarium meets amusement park? This is quite the interesting place. They claim to be a top zoo and be in the top 30 zoo's of diversity. This maybe true but they have tons of birds, many of the same kind just a slightly different breed. They have lots of other animals as well, but most of the animals are in small cages. Animals seems health but must bigger animals are seen pacing back and forth, birds flying from one end to another, and a lot of very scared animals. Even the fish seem to just sit in one spot because they don't really have room to swim around. Worst thing I saw was an eagle, inside the fish area, with both its feet tied tied together with like a 3-4 inch rope. The poor animal could barely move around on his tree limb let alone move in 4ft by 2.5ft? of space. To me it seems the focus was more on collecting money then it was on the animals. $40 adult admission, $3 bottle water, and everywhere you turn there is some ride you need to pay for or event they want you to do.
Overall we had a good time but felt bad for the majority of the animals. They did have a good variety of non bird animals with some interesting ones you don't normally see. I don't think we would go back.
