This little restaurant is our favorite sushi restaurant in Phoenix (and several other cities) and we attend regularly. The service is friendly, earnest, and reliable and the chef is the owner. In fact he's the only chef, except for a few holidays when they're simply closed. Except for the occasional disappointment that their closed on Sunday and Monday, it makes for excellent consistency in their already very tasty sushi.
I generally get the sushi hana deluxe because the tuna and salmon sushi (sushi, not the rolls) are so very good. You can tell that the chef really cares about the quality of what he makes as it's very consistently excellent. Furthermore, the sweet egg sushi is consistently excellent.
They have many specialty rolls that are also very good. We typically order the tootsie roll or rainbow roll, which are luxuriantly rich rolls, as a finished for the meal and are very satisfied.
Also, I frequently walk out at about $30 for two, which is a very reasonable price for such food sushi.
