This is the worst car wash experience I've ever had, point blank, period. They upsold me to an interior detail, which is fine because I needed that. But I explicitly told them I had no way to get home, so I'd be there the whole time. I asked how long it would take, and they told me 2 to 2 and a half hours. So I waited until the three hour mark to ask for an update. They told me they hadn't even started the detail because they thought I wasn't waiting, so I told them I just wanted my car back. The manager came out and told me if I gave him 45 minutes he'd get it done. I reluctantly agreed. Over an hour after that conversation, they were still working on my car. At that point I just took my car and left, nearly backing over a spray bottle in my haste to get out of there. They weren't finished, but I paid $135 (included a tip given before they started) for a half finished detail job and a car with bird poop stuck in the back. It took them over four hours (remember that the original ETA was 2/2.5). They never offered a refund for a job that they didn't even finish, but I did get a free car wash. I'm not really sure what good they thought that would do; why would I go to a car wash that left my car streaky and covered in bird poop?
