  • When I first moved to Calgary, this was one of the first places I checked out with newly made friends. Now, almost 6 years later, I am happy to say it is still just as great. Good people watching, reading or getting a little work done if you are a laptop toting student or self employees type. It is a popular spot regardless of day of the week or time of day. But it never seems to get that frenzied "get out of the way I need my coffee" feel that some of the other chain coffee places get. It's pretty chillaxed even when it's packed. Maybe everyone orders decaf? They have a fantastic selection of lattes, including different types of milk (Almond milk!) and they get your order done quickly. The staff are friendly and always have great suggestions if you want to step out of your coffee comfort zone. And of course, they do the basics very well. Yay coffee.
