This review is overdue. My husband and I were not happy with our three-night stay for the 4th of July weekend. We booked through Booking.com months in advance of our vacation and when we got there they had no record of our reservation. We showed the guy at the front desk (Alex) all of our paperwork with the proof and reservation number and he couldn't care less. His response was, "well, we still have rooms available, but we're not going to give you a room at the rate you had booked it at before." Why the hell would we spend more money then we needed to for a 3-star hotel that we should already be getting for a decent price???
We left and went to a friend's house to cool down and try to contact Booking.com. HOURS later, we finally got ahold of someone and they claimed they had sent the reservation. They re-sent it, and we were able to go back to the hotel and get our room. On top of this fiasco, the elevator closest to our room was a death-trap waiting to happen (really wobbly and shaky) and several of the light sockets were not working.
I do not believe that the hotel did not get our reservation. I think they were trying to make us pay more, and that's a terrible way to run a business. This Comfort Inn really needs to honor their agreements with Booking.com or not have it listed as an option on Booking's site.
We will not be staying here again and I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.
