Went to dinner with family and tried the macaroni and cheese and fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. The fried green tomatoes were crisp and served with a spicy sauce. Very good. The macaroni and cheese was ok but wasn't something that couldn't have been made at home. They also provided cornbread which was a little dry. Had the fried catfish for the entree and it was served over a tomato relish with a few potatoes and corn on the cob. It wasn't bad but didn't have the 'wow' factor I was looking for. Also tried the fried chicken which was nice and crispy and red beans and rice which were also delicious. The waitress was very nice and attentive but it took about 40 minutesfor the food to come out with the restaurant being about a quarter filled. I liked the open restaurant concept but they need blowers to keep flies out as they were flying around our table.
