  • I had worked part time at Hilldale Mall, so I have been to this establishment many times. I had tried to find something to LOVE at Dumpling Haus but I wasn't wowed by anything. The Veggie Noodle Soup is nice, especially during the cold season. The potstickers are nice but not super special. I just didn't get excited about the Dumpling Haus as a destination. I have a friend who lives and dies for the peanut noodles with chicken served cold. So that means I ended up there more than I wanted. But during the Wisconsin Film Festival, I grabbed the Curry Beef Bao on a whim. OMG, it is so flavorful and delish! The fluffy bun is a nice contrast to the slight kick of the curry ground beef. I have had it a few times since early April and it has not disappointed. I have finally found my go-to item at the Dumpling Haus. :) Side note: The family that runs this business is so nice and helpful. They are the real reason I have eaten there as much as I have. This is a local business that deserves to keep growing.
