  • All of these reviews are dead on. Dr. Tan's office is absolutely top notch. I went in originally for an infection in my jaw, relying on others' 5-star Yelp reviews about how good the practice is. They fit me in same day with no problems. About 10 minutes after I arrived, they informed me that they were not contracted with my dental insurance company (this was my mistake, not theirs). But in that 10 minutes, they had already taken a full set of x-rays and had me in an exam room waiting for Dr. Tan. Even though the insurance issue was my mistake, they told me that they would not charge for the consultation or x-rays if I wanted to leave and find another dentist who my insurance worked with. I was so impressed with the efficiency, professionalism, and friendly staff (they treat you like an old friend from the first time you walk in the office), I decided to stay, regardless of the insurance. I'm so glad I did. As well as addressing my immediate issue, Dr. Tan and his staff also came up with a plan to resolve some long standing dental problems at a hugely discounted price, and even found a way to get it all financed for a reasonable rate (0% interest over 24 months, and my credit is less than stellar). Prior to finding Dr. Tan, I had been looking for a long time and had seen multiple dentists that I ended up being unhappy with, due to either super high prices, long waits for appointments, or just sloppy dentistry. I'm so happy with Green Valley Modern Dentistry and I hope this review helps someone who is in the same situation I was.
