I live in a small rednecky town and have short, straight Hapa hair, so I hold out on getting my hair cut until I go somewhere with an Asian hair salon. I've been to Beauty to Beauty with somewhat mixed results, so I thought I'd give Family Hair a try.
I made an appointment and was seen promptly by Kim. I explained that I was trying to grow out the sides of my hair a bit and showed her a photo. She gave me a very cute texturized cut, which doesn't scream in-between phase. She and her husband are extremely nice, no nonsense, no pretension, just great customer service. My only regret is that I don't live closer.
