After 5 years of loyalty, making regular payments and maintaining a $100k operating LOC, CIBC decided to send our business a letter that they would like to close all of our business bank accounts. We asked why and there own staff, customer service and internal departments could not provide an answer. Perhaps they don't like brown people, maybe its just muslims...I dont know and dont care to speculate any more.
Giving a business with over a dozen employees less than 2 months to move over 5 credit cards, 4 bank accounts and a $100k LOC is not reasonable. What is even more unreasonable is to not care as much to give us a reason as to why you kicked us out.
Go find a bank that actually cares about your needs and your small business. CIBC is not that bank.
