  • Feb 1st 2018 marks my second anniversary renting a 10 x 10 unit here in Vegas. Yes, I got a teaser of $29 for the first month. $121.50 a month there after. Then STORAMERICA purchased the complex and promptly raised the rent to $139.50. Today I got the postcard saying, "GUESS WHAT! YOUR RENT JUST WENT UP TO $152.00. THIRTY BUCKS A MONTH MORE in less than 2 years. $360 a year increase! A TWENTY FIVE PERCENT INCREASE. So what can I do? Hire a truck and movers and move to another space? Not practical, and these vultures know it. So buyer beware.
