  • I'm not sure what is going on, but I couldn't disagree more with the other reviews on this site. My daughter has been seeing the doctors at this practice for 2 years. The doctors she has seen have been kind, patient, professional, and knowledgeable. In addition, the office staff has been professional, attentive, and friendly. Recently, my daughter switched from Dr. Underdahl to Dr. Pachtman because Dr. Underdahl is no longer at this practice. Dr. Pachtman spent a lot of time going over our history and made recommendations that were aligned with my philosophy on the validity and efficacy of eye exercises. Dr. Pachtman truly seemed to care about my daughter's eye health and provided viable options for her care. In addition, I briefly made a comment about frustrations with my own ophthalmologist, and Dr. Pachtman had me sit in the patient chair so that he could look at my eyes and give me his own opinion. Despite an extremely busy office (they just lost one of their doctors, so the remaining doctors have had to absorb those patients), our visit to see Dr. Pachtman was not rushed at all. Perhaps the reason some other reviewers complained of long wait times is due to the fact that the doctors here do not rush you out of the office until all of your questions have been answered. I would much rather wait to have my turn to see the doctor than feel like I am being rushed during my own turn. These doctors have been in practice for a long time and there is a reason why their practice has been so successful. These are the most knowledgeable and professional pediatric ophthalmologists in the Valley.
