I went in with my wife and 1 y.o. Daughter yesterday being Sunday to grab a few things. We realized a play cottage was on sale for about an$100 savings for about $154. The price now is 259.99. The stores machines were down so they wouldn't take debit or credit. There is a bank in plaza but it was not my bank and would have cost me a very small surcharge. We wanted to pay by credit so we can earn the aeroplane miles on the sale. So we asked if we could put the item on hold and get it the next day. A "manager" at that time put it on hold for us cause the machines were down. He even put a hold tag on the item. I went to pick it up today less than 24 later and they charged me full price for the product. The manager and the cashier kept telling me that hey wouldn't honour the price cause there was no note to honour the sale price. I'm assuming the manager thought I was lying. Another cashier even remembered my family from Sunday. Still the manager did nothing, telling me it was tough luck. Was this may fault? I was treated like a liar. Not cool! I called customer service Ana logged a complaint. I hope to never shop their again. I'll take my business to another store .
