| - I went here tonight with my friend and was totally expecting fabulous food. We were both beyond disappointed and will not come back to this location again. Way over priced for the quality of food with lack of any flavor.
1. Pot Stickers $10
Pan-fried pork dumplings, vegetables, chili-vinegar soy sauce
We ordered the pot stickers and that was the only part of the meal that was good. But then again potstickers are hard to mess up.
2. Then we ordered Pla Lobster** $24
Spicy grilled lobster, fresh herbs, lemongrass, Chinese celery
This consisted of rubbery overcooked Langostinos which are not Lobsters. They were very small, tasteless and chewy. No heat whatsoever or flavor in this salad and it consisted of 98% celery. It should not be called a salad. Nothing salad about it. Someone should explain Salad to these people.
3. Then we ate the: Garlic and Lime Steamed Cod** $26
Steamed codfish, chili, mint, garlic, lime sauce
So we SAW Garlic on the plate and SAW sliced limes on top of the fish but in no way was this flavor in, around or in any way infused into the fish. My friend could not eat her piece and left it on her plate. I ate mine but had to put chili paste on top to give it flavor. It was even missing salt. In fact the salad and the main entree did not have adequate seasoning, flavor or at the very least salt.
I ordered a Spiced Rum drink with literally NO RUM in it. for $15.00 I would expect some rum in the drink but all I tasted was thai tea and coconut milk.
So $90 later we left hungry and pissed.
I think the only reason this place gets any business is due to their location because their food is horrid and their drinks are light.
Their slogan at the top of the page: "The only authentic Thai restaurant on The Strip" makes me cringe. As a local they have some serious nerve to claim such nonsense. They seriously must appeal to people without tastebuds. If you're a true foodie, run like hell.
A nearby slot machine must have felt bad for me because I won enough in 5 min to pay for my bad dinner. lol
