| - My son and I went to lunch here this week and it was a pleasant surprise. We didn't know that they had only opened this restaurant/pub a couple a months ago, so we were impressed with the interior, service and food.
My son ordered the Shepherd's Pie. It was tasty with short ribs, potatoes, peas and carrots, but it wasn't in the form of a "pie". It was almost deconstructed. I ordered their macaroni and cheese. It had a very rich cheese sauce and also kielbasa slices on top, but the real gift were the sauteed asparagus. We had also ordered a "beer cheese dip" with large slices of soft pretzels.
Our server, Sam, was so personable and pleasant. He even conversed with me about his dreams, family, interests, and travel adventures. My son and I had a most enjoyable afternoon. If you're ever on Monroe St., check out this place. You won't be disappointed.
