  • My fiance proposed to me on Christmas. We decided to get married on June 9. That meant that I only had about 6 months to put together a wedding and find a wedding dress. I would say that I was looking for something that was simple and elegant at the same time. It was quite discouraging to see what kind of wedding dresses were out there at your typical wedding stores (i.e. David's Bridal). Most of the dresses in my price range (under $500) looked very cheap and undignified or they cost over $1000! It was the 3rd week of looking without any success when I found this store. The dresses that they have at this store are a mix of floor samples and last season's lines. The benefit to this is that the prices are drastically reduced and you have so much more variety. The sales staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I was extremely well taken care of. I walked in there without an appointment (David's Bridal and those places are always so booked up and they make such a quick production of what should be a special moment.) and was helped right away. The dress that I got looked amazing! It was a very shiny white heavy linen dress with rhinestones across the middle. I have not seen dresses like this anywhere and it is such a gorgeous dress. It was originally $899 and it was only $297 at Brilliant Bridal. I walked out of the store with my dress that day without having to wait 2-6 months for my dress to be ordered and shipped to the store (like what would have happened with David's Bridal).
