| - The owner is simply beyond rude! Took my Prada purse strap to get the leather fixed since the strap is very thin and had two cracks in it. When I took it in, he immediately said the work is not guaranteed, if the leather is garbage it could crack some more. (Exactly in that phrase.) I told him it shouldn't. And since I live in the area I really didn't want to travel all the way downtown to find a Prada store or a cobbler so I dropped it off and crossed my fingers. Should've taken my money and ran when he made me pay upfront, and $30 to fix two little cracks.
On pick up I was terrified by the result! Not only was it not seamless like I was promised it would be, he cut the leather, overlapped them and restitched them and now it's a lumpy big mess and 2 inches shorter. On top of that, (it's quite hard to see from the photo) he used brown stitching for the black strap!?!!!!!!!?????? WHY????!!!!! When I questioned, he actually had he audacity to say that I am being way too picky, and that I don't even know what I'm talking about. And I asked why the stitching is coming out (refer to photo), he said it's because my leather is garbage. I was fuming! It's a strap from an over $1500 Prada purse! I'm pretty sure the leather is anything but garbage. To make matters worse, I found a new crack that had not been there before, when I confronted him he said too bad I'm not fixing it for you and shooed me away and said he cannot be bothered with such picky people! Wtf!!! He ruined my purse.
If you have anything expensive don't be lazy like me, take it to a reputable cobbler or it will be ruined. This store is the worst.
