Just a disclaimer: I don't usually seek out Chinese food, although I have enjoyed it on several occasions.
Ginger is conveniently located near one of my close friend's house so we decided that we'd check it out. To be honest, the font that they use for their signage is totally fabulous and I love it- I know, the packaging always gets me! I believe this follows through in the design of the restaurant as they are totally going for a modern look and it works for them. We went on an evening when it wasn't too hot or too chilly and enjoyed the outdoor patio. It is right next to the patio of the restaurant next door which seems like it would detract but it really didn't seem to. The patio is small but comfortable.
Our server was attentive, and the service was up to par.
I enjoyed the garlic chill shrimp which was flavorful and a good portion size. The presentation (once again) was impressive. My companions enjoyed the strawberry, orange chicken salad and the combination lo mein. Both seemed content with their meals.
The food was good, but lacked the umph to bring us back as we haven't revisited despite the convenient location. The service was great. Something I did enjoy is that Ginger is low to moderately priced- everything on the menu is under $10. If you are into a more modern take on Chinese food in the area, I'd give Ginger a go.
