I've been here twice. There are some really great things about it and some not so great things about it.
First, both trips to Papa Js were bad to terrible service. We ordered a bottle of wine, got glasses instead, wrong orders, no water refill after asking a couple of times, no one asking how anything is, blah blah blah. Just a bad experience.
The food is good. Nothing that isn't better at other Italian restaurants in the area, but pretty good. This last trip we had a mozzarella appetizer and it was unexpectedly good. Big, breaded ball of cheese, deep fried and served on some good marinara.
The meals have been mediocre overall. They offer fresh baked bread with oil and balsamic that's pretty tasty, too. I just want more from this place. It's just okay.
