  • My boyfriend & I adopted our dog here last year and we have been looking for another dog for a few months. Brought our dog yesterday and found three dogs we loved (Norte Dame, Kearny, and Konan). We were told by the volunteer that all three dogs weren't available to see or adopt - the two puppies needed shots and the other dog was going to a fundraiser. All three would be available to adopt in a week. Just saw on their Facebook that another couple was able to adopt one of the puppies on the same day we were turned away. WTF?! We weren't able to even SEE the puppy & another couple got to ADOPT the puppy?! We are both annoyed, frustrated, and feel that this was personal. I doubt we will ever be back.
