  • We had arrived for our two night stay at around 8:30pm and were told that we had been upgraded from streetside to pool side. This was a downgrade because we woke up to very loud music at the poolside and people talking loudly while they were playing games at the poolside. Do not stay in room 136. I don't know if it was just my room but the airconditioner was very very loud - almost growling loud whenever it would turn on. I could hear everything in the hallways. That only means one thing - that the hallways could hear me. If I were to do anything private, I would have to be very very quiet - as to not disurb other people. I even kept my television volume down at night so as to not disturb other people. In short, the walls are very thin here. There was a baby fly inside my room that I killed on my first night here. Bathrooms were okay - no vent switch if you needed to use it. This is also the first hotel that I've seen with no late checkout - checkout strictly at noon. I think the hotel would just need major updating all around. Lots of improvements to be made. Plus: Staff were nice. TV does Netflix. They have breakfast buffet in the AM for 14 dollars available. Theres high speed internet included with the resort fee. The wedding we attended was beautiful by the Lakeside.
