Beware of this FastMed! Especially if there is a NP that will be assessing your medical issue. I went in on a Saturday morning for medication. I had a history of the medical issue I was having and asked for antibiotics. This NP, was convinced it was something else. Sent me home with the wrong meds and said to call Monday morning if I wasn't feeling better. I called Monday morning; was placed on hold for 10 mins. Called back in an hour and asked to speak with the NP. The front receptionist came back on the line to inform me that the NP was still NOT comfortable providing antibiotics. I made an appointment with my MD for that afternoon; was diagnosed with the medical issue that I was confident I had on Saturday, received antibiotics and now on the mend. When conveying my experience at urgent care with my MD, his response was her decision was ridiculous.
I hope that the NP reads this and understands that her approach to healthcare is myopic and she obviously needs more experience in caring for patients. Consumers beware; see your MD!!
