The doctor is great. His office staff is the worst. I had trouble a few times refilling an inhaler for my daughter. The last time was the last straw. I ordered an inhaler around June 1st for my daughter. About June 6th I call and ask why they hasn't been any progress with the refill since we were leaving town in a few days. Vanessa said she would take care of it personally. It wasn't. So now its the beginning of July wondering why we haven't received the refill. The doctors office says they never received a fax. So now I stay at the pharmacists while she confirms on the phone the fax number. She resends the request. Back and forth for about ten days with Vanessa and Carla. The final conclusion was my daughter needed to be seen every six months. Which was new news to me. Here I am now at the end of July with no inhaler and my daughter was seen 7 1/2 moths ago. When I first tried to refill the prescription in June it was approximately 6 months at that time. Why not tell me then. Do they not know their own procedures. Seems like the rules change to their liking. This would have been the third inhaler in 6 months when typically people refill this type of prescription every month. Horrible service. Something so easy was so stressful. We will not be going back to this doctor because of Vanessa's and Carla's lack of knowledge of office practices and no regard for parents time or feelings.
