  • My kids are in town from NY state, and since they're only teenagers and not old enough by law to hang out on the casino floor, and we've done just about everything else in Vegas, we thought we'd give it a try. We've never been through an "escape room", and my daughter insisted we go-- my son wasn't so enthusiastic about it..... at first.... Now, the place is just a little hard to find-- it's set back in a corporate/warehouse park a few blocks off the strip, and if you don't look around the area a bit, you'll miss it (look for the big sign that says "LOCKDOWN"). I think it would help their business if they had something that was more street-side. And honestly, that's the only "negative" thing I can say about this place. We got there about 4 PM, and the young gentlemen explained everything, and recommended that since this was our first time doing it, that we start off with the easiest room. I'm glad we did, as it provided enough of a challenge for the three of us-- we made it out in time, with two and a half minutes to spare (you get an hour to find your way out, no matter which room you pick). Also, you do get a certain number of "hints" to guide you along, but you do have to pay attention and think a bit. Well, I don't want to give up too much information about what we did, but it was definitely worth going. The staff was great, the "room" was done up pretty nice, and definitely was a "safe" environment, as compared to going down to the Strip or Fremont St. to find something to do, and we didn't have to make a six hour trip into Arizona, California, or anywhere else, for that matter, just for something fun and entertaining to do. And the best part about it, both kids had a wonderful time (the boy wants to go back and try the "Mad Scientist" room, which is the most difficult), and didn't stop talking about it for several hours after. We'll probably be headed there again before the kids leave to take on the "Mob Room". If you're looking for something to do that doesn't involve drinking, gambling, or the other "stays in Vegas" stuff, or have kids, this is definitely where you want to go!
