We were not planning on visiting this location as we had been to the South Outlet Mall and had spent a very pleasant afternoon shopping there. However in our attempt to go to Fremont Street to get a Fried Twinkie we ran into a HORRENDOUS traffic jam and street closures.
Every Free Parking structure had a sign that parking was $20. We knew something was going on as the Police presence was ENORMOUS. However we were clueless as to what.
It took us forever to get out of the area and our GPS was not helpful as it dumped us right into the traffic going to this mall. Lots of folks going to the event on Fremont Street (which turned out to be something called Life is Beautiful- it sure was not BEAUTIFUL STUCK IN TRAFFIC)
decided $20 was too rich for them and had infiltrated parking at this mall. A LOT of Cabbies were also dropping people off. It took us FORTY FIVE MINUTES to get to the parking structure to park. We were lucky and got a spot on the first floor.
Now onto the review of the mall.
It does not even begin to measure up to the South location. It does not have the stores or the selection. It seemed to attract a differen kind of clientele. many of the stores blared music that was so obnoxious it deterred us from going in orvstaying in the store. The Nike store being one of the worst and clearly we were not the demographic they want in their store.
If you want a pleasant shopping experience go to the Outlet Mall South.
