Got this through a Groupon and was excited to get my tint done on my new car that I just got this summer. I was told it should take 2 hrs. I spent just over 3 hrs there. By the time they were done it was late evening so I inspected the windows as best as I could in the dark and noticed one of the windows had really jagged edges where they cut the tint in what looked like zig zags...so I asked they fix it. (It was not cut properly) which Ken gladly did. I was happy. Went home. Followed instructions with ac and not winding my windows down. All good. It was the weekend so it worked perfectly for me. I didn't drive my car on Saturday as it rained and I did not want to ruin the tint. Come Monday i noticed additional jagged edges, and scratches on the inside of the tint on the smaller windows, and some air bubbles. Promptly called Ken and left a voice mail about my concerns. No response. Called the next day..he said he had not checked vm which is fine. Explained what I had said on the vm..immediately he got really defensive. Instead of saying bring your car in and lets take a look. His response was "the warranty card says that bubbles are to be expected ...and in my 14 years no one has complained about all their windows having bubbles". OK fine..let me be the first then. Long story short he said I could come in another day but his response to my concerns already left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I scheduled an appointment but had to cancel and he accommodated me on another morning. I came in and this is where he started to piss me off. I am not an unreasonable person and I hate confrontation as most do. But when a conversation needs to be had..it must be had. I explained what I felt were the issues with the tint..to which he snickered. Wtf. Why are you snickering? What an unprofessional way to handle a situation. The jagged edges were unacceptable to me, the air bubbles if he could eliminate I could live with, without him having to replace the entire window. And he just stood there with a smirk on his face..terrible attitude. Bottom line is your people skills dude, need improving. Have a conversation with someone and be professional. Try this next time " insert persons name...I understand you are unhappy with the tint but a certain number of imperfections are normal when you tint your windows. I do however agree that scratches and improperly cut tint are where we dropped the ball and I would be happy to fix them". NOT - snickering when I say something and being defensive about something that is blatantly in your face - no further evidence required. That is not the way to get and keep customers. This was a huge inconvenience for me. I live downtown and the drive to him is 40 mins. The replacement tint on the small side windows with the scratched tint and the massive back window and one driver side window took an additional 3 hrs plus. In total I spent over 6 hours getting something that shd have been a 2 hr job (3 at most) complete. Instead of acknowledging that, his snickering and overall terrible attitude left me with a bad taste in my mouth. He gets 1 star for effort.
