  • I wanted to try out this restuarant for a while, maybe it was all the hype, but I wasn't as pleased as I thought I would be. I really like the character of place. When we went, it was decorated for Mardi Gras, but I'm sure it has a festive feel no matter what day. It's in a small house in Mirvish Village, and small little nooks of places and room where you can sit and have an intimate meal. The food itself is Southern obviously, but I was looking for something more. It was okay, nothing spectactcular, and it didn't end up in my list of 'must go again'. I also pre-booked the psychic. I'm always skeptical of these things, and when I have a chance, I'll try my luck. Of course it's a show and she says what you want to here. It's a nice entertainment addition to place, but it's $20 for a reading. They don't advertise this, just be careful knowing that's how much you're willing to pay. I'm only rating this a 3 because I did like the atmosphere. I would have rated the food only a 2. I've had better.
