Did an online order with the pick up in store option. It was probably with 15 minutes of placing my order that I was emailed and notified that my order was ready to be picked up. When I got there I headed over to the service desk. The desk was busy, probably 3 or 4 people in line and only one woman working at a register and another doing something else behind the desk who eventually opened a second register/window to help with the line.
When it was finally my turn, I walked up the woman started looking up my order and in the middle of it all got sidetracked at least 2 or 3 times with a question or answering the phone. This is a huge pet peeve of mine. If it is my turn, that person on the phone should still technically be AFTER me in line if the phone rings after I'm already at the desk. Finish my transaction and then deal with the customer on the phone or answering other associates' questions.
I was a fan of the ordering online and picking up the store - but they certainly could do better to streamline the process of picking it up once you get to the store. I could see certain days when the service desk is busy that it would be quicker to just find the item in the store and check out than the time it could take you to wait.
