| - This may come as a surprise to you: I wear glasses.
Sure you've seen me around, sporting some frames, but let me assure you, this is not for "hipster cred". I'd live in a rather non-descript world of basic shapes and colors without the things.
I've used Schwartz a few times now when I need to update the glasses, when scratches become too numerous, when dogs bend the frames by slapping them off my face during a play session. My glasses are usually in a sad state by the time I finally come in, but my new frames are always nice when I come out.
Making appointments have been easy, the staff is nice, they are sympathetic to my light sensitivity, and work with me to ensure that I'm getting the best vision care. The attitude is very casual here, and they are attentive and respectful to my concerns. They even work with you to find a flattering pair of frames for you instead of slapping a new set of specs on you and calling it a day.
My last frames did take three weeks to come in, which was a long wait for me, but I have been satisfied with the results overall.
I just got my new frames, so it will probably be a while before I see them again, but I'm satisfied with my results, and would gladly recommend them to others. Their office is on the backside of an office complex, so they are a little tricky to find, but I'd recommend taking Campbell once you turn off of Charleston Blvd. Saves a little time that way.
