| - Outstanding! A bright, fresh, seasonally and locally-inspired menu with lots of options - anything from snacks in the bar to a menu offering a la carte items, 3 course, 4 course, and 5 course tastings in the beautifully minimalist/rustic/modern dining room that is cozy and inviting.
I dined with a party of six. We started off in the bar and then moved into the dining area and all did the four-course tasting menu, which allows you to choose any four items from the entire menu (even if you choose to do all cheese, crudo, main or pasta courses). Our party tried the albacore, ahi, and yellowtail crudo plates and they were all delicious, each quite unique, but equally amazing. For the cheese course, most of us had the burratta, but one also sampled the fresh mozzarella. Again, fantastic. For the pasta, I had the gnocchi, and others had the squid ink risotto (which was out of this world), and the dumplings which had pork belly and butternut squash. For the mains, half got the short ribs and the other half ended up with the pork belly. We shared a seasonal fruit tart at the end. Every dish was truly delicious and we left full and very satisfied, unlike some tasting menus.
Really beautiful inside, so friendly and inviting, and really one of the best restaurants in Phoenix. A real gem and I'm glad we found it! Can't wait to go back!
