| - I have to begin by telling you that I am completely terrified and have tremendous anxiety and fear when it comes to dentist's but needed to share my experience with Dr. Lim and his staff.
I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon after experiencing what I now know was an abscess that would require me having two teeth pulled, one being a wisdom tooth. Not fun right, as you can tell I was not happy about going to the dentist to begin with and dreaded my walk to the office.
Dr. Lim's office took me in as an emergency walk-in case right away. The front staff was lovely and asked me to fill out a few forms before meeting with the hygienist. The hygienist walks me to the back and could see the fear in my face, she tried to calm my nerves right away lol I have to say that she was so warm, caring and sweet. I believe her name is Ann (Portuguese girl) and really such a doll! She calmed me down after I told her I was scared and anxious because I am not a fan of dentists and I have a lot of dental issues that need to be addressed. Ann was patient and listened to me, she talked to me for a bit even though the clinic was pretty busy and was never judgmental. She calmly explained everything to me and told me not to worry that I made the biggest step and that was getting over my fear and walking into the office, I trusted her right away. After a few x-rays (painless especially since I had an abscess)
Dr. Lim came into the office and introduced himself. Let me tell you how amazing he is, just so kind and genuine, compassionate and really wanted me to feel at ease. He talked to me for a bit about his experiences, talked to me about my fears, what goals I wanted for my teeth and smile and assured me that I was in good hands. Long story short he told me that I needed a few extractions and some work (not surprised) but he was willing to help me get back on track with my smile and bring back my confidence. The extractions were FAST, especially for a wisdom tooth. He has to be the best dentist I have ever met and I am thanking my lucky stars that I walked into his clinic. I have to note that I never felt rushed or pressured. Dr. Lim answered all of my questions, took his time with me and was so calm and very patient. I never experienced judgment on my poor hygiene by him or his staff and was never berated for not keeping up and doing my best. I wholeheartedly recommend him to EVERYONE.
If you are reading this and have any ounce of fear or reservation about going to your dentist as I was (I am the biggest baby) please go see him. He is extremely gently while working on your teeth and stops to ask you how you are doing through the procedure.
Thank you Dr. Lim & Staff you now have a lifelong patient. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars because I highly recommend him.
