  • We pulled our 2 children out of JCS after suffering for over a year. My daughter has been bullied in both the 2nd and 3rd grade at this "Christian" school. The administration has done nothing except ignore my emails. The school has next to no security (anybody can walk on to the campus at any time), they are extremely disorganized, there is little to no communication, the atmosphere is cold and snotty, and the academics are quite poor. We moved here from out of state where we attended a private, college preparatory school and JCS was far behind this school. Now that we've transferred to another school in Peoria, we can see that JCS is also at least a year behind the new school as well. There are absolutely no redeeming qualities at JCS except for a few teachers that we liked. The Principal and the Admissions Coordinator were two of the most standoffish women I have had to deal with in a long time and the front office staff couldn't ever be bothered to greet us when we entered the building. The Superintendent didn't even respond to us when we advised her that we were leaving the school. This is NOT a Christian environment at all.
