I am originally from New Jersey and it has taken quite a bit of time for me to find a really outstanding Italian restaurant in the valley. I have finally found it at La Torretta. I came here with my family this weekend and I was very impressed with the intimacy of the space. Our tables were already set for fine dining (which is a very classy touch), and the staff was so accommodating I actually wasn't completely sure who our main server was until the end as they were all so helpful and accommodating. (extra points to them for working as a team!) I started with the meatballs arribiatta which I was warned were on the spicy side. I said that was alright and decided to be adventurous. They were absolutely delicious with a lot of heat. For my main course I got the filet mignon which was served with mushrooms and potatoes. It was cooked perfectly and was the best filet I've had in years. I can't wait for my next special occasion so I can try something else. I kept eying the plates that went by and everything looked amazing. Truly a great find.
