WOW!!! I just played Ambienet today. Major disappointment. The layout was restricted to an old river wash area. So, nine holes in a line away from the clubhouse and 9 holes coming back. Totally boring. You would have a very hard time remembering one hole from another--they all look the same. Many have a bunker in the middle of the fairway to trick it up. The greens are hard!!! The greens have mounds through many of them-- some you have to play 6 feet from the hole and hope the ball rounds off the hill towards the hole.
This is without a doubt the MOST OVERPRICED (we paid $119 each through a golf tee time broker) I've ever played. If this course was in my home town of San Diego it would have $60 green fees and have very hard time getting people to play it twice.
I never ever do these reviews but this course was so over rated and built up I decided to spend the 5 minutes and try to save someone a bad way to spend over $100 for 5 hours of frustration.
