I wanted to like this place, but it simply gave me no reason to. I ordered a $14 cocktail and it was pretty small and served in a martini glass that was not filled to the top. I also had the short ribs which can only be described as a morsel of food. If you saw 'short ribs' on a small plate menu for $15, what do you picture in your mind? No, not even close. Out came a long, narrow plate with 4 one inch pieces of deboned short rib on tiny beds of cabbage (if you lined them up together, it would equate to 1 short rib). You would need four orders of this to vaguely feel satisfied.
Maybe a place like this works in LA where people are high as kite and don't eat, but in Charlotte, NC people go to a restaurant and expect to be fed.
