  • My two older sisters, younger brother and I all graduated from Sunnyslope. My husband also graduated from Sunnyslope; we are 35 years married. My oldest sister became an art teacher at Sunnyslope after she graduated college and was in fact my art teacher. When we were attending in the 70's the music, band and vocational education programs were very good. The original principal, Mr. Men Coffin, was the principal when we attended and had watched the area grow into a vibrant part of the city. The grounds have been well maintained and many improvements made since we were there. "Fight on you Sunnyslope Vikings, fight on with all your might. Fight on you Sunnyslope Vikings, for a victory tonight. Fight on you Sunnyslope Vikings, fight on for the green and white. Fight on you Sunnyslope Vikings, hit 'em hard let's win tonight!"
